Welcome to Cranbourne Park Primary School.

Below are the details to start the process for a new enrolment: 

Closing date for applications is the 31st July.

Parents/guardians will be asked to provide required documentation to support the enrolment (immunisation certificate from Medicare, birth certificate or passport and proof of address) and dates for interviews will then be arranged. 

We encourage all students to attend all sessions (transitions/assessments etc.).

Transition days take place in Term 4, once enrolled, please keep an eye on your emails for details. These emails will genreally come towards the end of Term 3 / start of term 4.

Our school zone

Our school zone is available on findmyschool.vic.gov.au which hosts the most up-to-date information on school zones in Victoria.

Students residing within our school zone are guaranteed a place at our school, which is determined on the basis of your permanent residential address.

Our school manages enrolments using the Placement Policy to ensure that students have access to their designated neighbourhood school and may enrol at another school, if there are available places.

Prep enrolments

All government primary schools will follow the Department's timeline.

You can find information and resources about the timeline, including factsheets, at: Enrolling in Prep. 

What you need to do:

1. Complete the Digital Enrolment forms online: register for an account here   
2. Download the Prep enrolment information pack from Enrolling in Prep 
3. Submit an enrolment application for Prep by 31st July
4. Take part in transition sessions during Term 4
5. Please check your emails for the prep starting day as this often differs from the other year levels.

Enrolment applications submitted after the 31 July will be processed by our school as they are received, in accordance with the department’s Placement Policy.

School tours

Families are welcome to join a member of the leadership team for a school tour. Bring your questions, little ones and smiles as we show you our wonderful school. Please email the school at cranbourne.park.ps@education.vic.gov.au to let us know you are coming. School tours will run for approximately 15-30minutes with time for any questions as we walk or at the end

Eligibility for Prep

To start primary school your child will need to turn five years old by 30 April. Your child must be at school in the year that they turn six years of age. This is the compulsory school starting age in Victoria.
