Principals’ message…
Welcome to Cranbourne Park Primary School.
I extend a warm welcome to all students, families and staff. When you step through our gates you will notice that our school is exceptionally welcoming and accepting. The culture at Cranbourne Park Primary is very supportive and engaging for all members of the community.
Our school was established in 1968 and has been serving the community of Cranbourne since with a current enrolment of 315 students. We have a dedicated team of teaching and support staff who are well equipped to provide a high-quality learning environment for all students.
Utilising both hands on resources and online support tools our students and teachers engage in a collaborative and safe learning space with high expectations to insist on continuous improvement for all students. The learning program is based on the Victorian Curriculum for all government schools. Students have the opportunity to develop skills across all learning areas including Literacy, Numeracy, Integrated learning topics, Health and Physical Education, Art, Music, Digital Technology and Auslan as a second language.
Students are all encouraged and supported to develop their leadership skills and have a voice in their learning. This is a continued focus for our school moving forward.
Our school highly values respect as a core focus. Our mindset is centered on:
The school has a strong focus on full time attendance and student wellbeing. It is important that all students attend school all day, every day if they are to reach their full potential and have the best start to a prosperous and strong future. We have an expectation that parents and families will continue to work to support all students to make positive choices now to support them later on in life. We continue to offer support to all students to set a clear path for development of self-growth and learning.
Inclusion is a cornerstone for our students. All students are supported with the resources they need to thrive at school and our team of supportive staff work tirelessly to engage and connect with all students.
I look forward to working with all families to improve the learning outcomes for all students. Please do not hesitate to contact me via the school office on 5996 1142 to make an appointment.
