Welcome to Cranbourne Park Primary School
It is my pleasure to warmly welcome all students, families and staff to our school community. We believe a strong school is built on positive relationships, open communication and a genuine sense of belonging. From the moment you walk through our gates, we want you to feel welcomed, valued and included.
Established in 1968, Cranbourne Park Primary School has proudly served the Cranbourne community for many years. With approximately 315 students and a dedicated team of teaching and support staff, we are committed to providing a safe, engaging and high-quality learning environment for every student.
We believe that education is a shared responsibility. The best outcomes for students occur when students, families, teachers and the wider community work together.
We value open and respectful communication and encourage families to share their ideas, questions and feedback. By listening to one another and working collaboratively, we can better understand the needs of our students and continue to strengthen our school.
Our teachers work collaboratively to plan, reflect and continually improve teaching and learning. Using hands-on resources, technology and online learning tools, we create engaging and safe learning experiences based on the Victorian Curriculum.
We encourage students to be active participants in their learning — to ask questions, share ideas, take on challenges, learn from mistakes and strive for continual improvement. Students are also supported to develop leadership skills and have a voice in their school and learning.
Respect is at the heart of our school culture:
We are committed to ensuring every student feels safe, supported and included. We value the diversity of our community and work closely with families to provide the support and resources students need to thrive.
Student wellbeing and regular attendance are important foundations for learning and success. When challenges arise, we believe in working with families, through open communication and shared problem-solving, to find positive pathways forward.
We understand that a great school is always learning and improving. We continually reflect on our practices, listen to our community and look for ways to strengthen learning, wellbeing, inclusion and partnerships.
When we work together, listen to one another and share responsibility, we create better opportunities for every student.
I look forward to working alongside our students, families and staff as we continue to build a welcoming, supportive and collaborative school community where every student can learn, grow and thrive.
